Ominous Ordeal
-Pandemonium: our playground, our prison-
Clad in the cutting-edge 'HealMe Set' by ERSCH [available now at Cyber Fair], I found myself right in the middle of a perilous situation. Imagine a sterile hospital room thrown into pandemonium by a sudden explosion, glass shards from the shattered window creating a swirling vortex of destruction. Through the demolished window, an unnerving obscurity reigned, an unspoken threat lurking in the shadows. Yet amidst this wreckage, my ERSCH ensemble remained oddly pristine, the advanced aesthetic seeming more out of place with every falling piece of debris.

What the world might have looked like had the cold war gone differently. There is splendid beauty in the chaos that consumes the SouthWest every monsoon season. This was another moment of trepidation entering the badlands completely exposed with lightning storms flashing all around us. I would have liked to go deeper, but there really is no way to get away out here in what feels like one of the remote places in the planet as you put miles under your feet.

So Storm Jorge made its presence known yesterday. The tide wasn't close enough to be crashing into the lighthouse. But there was plenty of drama, interesting light and rainbows.
I was looking back at the lighthouse, it was dark and eerie and there was this strange glow. I also noticed what look like a dust storm over the car park. I wanted to change my angle so could get more of the sea in.
However I didn't get the chance as the next second we were enveloped in the most horrendous hale storm with nowhere to hide. Thank goodness we were careful and I did not position myself close to the edge as we were totally disorientated. Eventually managed to take shelter against the side of a beach-hut. Bear in mind we were also in horizontal winds.
Suddenly it was over and I managed to get a bonus shot of the light the storm produced and a rainbow which I wlll post later,
It just goes to show how careful you have to be when out in the elements.
My camera is now in the airing cupboard!
