Palma's majestic cathedral is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture; in fact, it is one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Its construction was started in XIII century when Palma was captured by the Kingdom of Aragon from the Moors (and the city's mosque that was standing on its site was razed) and lasted until 1601.

All of these apartment entrances were behind locked iron gates.
I managed to stick the lens through (without getting it stuck ) fortunately :)
Position:
Palma often called Palma de Mallorca, is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands in Spain. It is situated on the south coast of Majorca on the Bay of Palma. This photo was done in the morning when sunrise colored over the environment.

Looking into the Dutch Foto museum, once the Las Palmas veem. It started its life as the technical workshop building of the Holland Amerika Lijn(HAL) and was designed in 1952 by Rotterdam functionalist / modernist architects pur sang Van den Broek & Bakema. It s a typical example of 'Het Nieuwe Bouwen'. After the HAL stopped its transatlantic operations the building was used as a veem (harbour storage facility) for products from the Canary Islands, hence its name.
The building was renovated in 2009 by Benthem Crouwel.

Porto Palma, in the west coast of Sardinia.
In the past it was a tiny fishermen village with a tuna fish factory (Tonnara), nowdays the fishermen houses have been converted into holiday homes
Palma's Merchants' Exchange (Sa Llotja) is a smaller copy of its equivalent in Valencia; it was built in mid-XV century by the same architect, Guillem Sagrera. And just as the one in Valencia it is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
