Earlier this year I planted some wild flower seeds in my tiny garden. I now have a lovely little patch for the bees, other insects , and some amazing colour too.
Splashes of colour fall to the trails in Beamer Memorial Conservation Area on the escarpment above Grimsby, Ontario
Sometimes a 70mm works for landscape shots as well...

In the cold waters of the south Atlantic Ocean, algae created a multi-colored palette for nature to produce this abstract.

...that matches your heels, well, its a moment of happy! I was wandering through this pretty sim, and it was a breath of fresh cheerful air and a respite from the snowy landscapes, that although are pretty, are essentially alien to me since it doesn't snow where I live. I was scampering about in my sassy yellow shoes when I spotted this door...inspiration grasped me! I think I might be becoming an artist, y'all! haha Kidding! I was in the mood for a cheery color palette today though. :)

The colors are created by the oxidation of different metals in the rocks: Iron compounds produce red, pink and yellow colors; decomposition of tuff-derived mica produces green colors; and manganese produces the purple color. The amazing site is known as "Artist’s Palette" and is located in Death Valley National Park, California.

Greenwich Park - With the Secrets of Summer project in mind this is my take on the pallettes I love at the start of Summer: Glorious, luscious greens, reds & umbers ,glimmering golds and tantalising yellows.
10/05/2017 - I was lucky enough to have this image selected by BBC Springwatch Team to promote the new upcoming series on their media platforms. Big smile on my face as the advert they used also got into explore on the same day.

A rainbow of colors at Artist’s Palette is one of the landscape highlights in California’s Death Valley National Park. The colors are a result of volcanic deposits that are rich in compounds such as iron oxides and chlorite.
The colourful mountain side above Grasmere in the Lake District. The stone walls divide the distinctive changes in the countryside colours and terrain.
