During August, 2010, I traveled with Kat, Biko, and Stokely to visit Camp Trinity at Bar 717 Ranch in between Hayfork and Hyampom, CA. There were lots of swings there including the one featured in this sketch I call Biko Toile. Materials used were graphite, embroidery thread, collage, colored pencils, and markers.
'Colorless Winter Town Walk' - [Special Series: 'Trails Of Life'.. ]
On some winter days, the city is immersed in a vast unitary gray. The sun seems to diffuse in front of him, the sky is blow, I blow an icy wind in your hair.. brrr so cold.. the colors of nature, where they are.. just disappeared.. only the continuously moving and dazzling sparkle of the water in the river seems a little variety for the eye to bring.
It's the weekend, who has not remained in the mountains for skiing and in town meets at the 'Isar river ', the families go on such a Sunday afternoon here, like walking. In the spring when snow melts may be that the 'Isar river ' occupies the entire width and everything flooded. Then when the sun shines again powerful and warming up, then rinse the river, the gray of winter down to the sea..
Tomorrow I will also prefer up to the mountains to ski towards the sun, for her to be a little bit closer again. Are you coming with me? ;-)
I wish you all a fantastic good new year! ;-)
