As storms and flooding have been happening throughout Wisconsin, many Lily Pads have floated together. Sadly no frogs

This is a photo that I made while canoeing of a single lily pad floating on the river amidst reflections of the evening sky.
Dit is het achterom naar mijn geboortehuis. Het huis zelf heb ik geen foto van gemaakt, het is zo veranderd. Het pad is echter nog heel herkenbaar.

This church (on the fortress island of Suomenlinna, near Helsinki) was originally Russian Orthodox, but at a later point it was converted to Lutherian and its onion domes were knocked down, leaving it looking a little bit odd. It reminded me of a rocket on a launch pad.
At first I thought it strange that apples were floating next to the lily pads. Then I noticed the apple tree overhanging the other side of the stream.
