This was a custom package for an overseas customer who was sending one of our breast cancer bracelets to a family member here in the states.
She wrote a note in Spanish for me to send along with her gift, I typed it and printed it on pink paper and used pink raffia instead of my usual green. I thought it came out very pretty and I think her grandmother will be so surprised and pleased!

I'm thinking of going to Ireland for Christmas. My sister and her family live there and some friends. I love the people and the counter . It's so sad to see Ireland being screwed in my opinion by bankers . All the common banking practices got put on the side by greed . Willingness of lending stupid amount of money to everyone. Everyone was told that real estate is the best investment . Buy 200k home and sell next year for 300K or even better 400K and sell for 600K … no way you could loose. Bankers made commissions and bonuses . People borrowed way too much , spend way too much ... but they did stimulate economy.
Now is the time to pay the piper . I said long time ago “We traded our souls in the dollar store”

isn't this the coolest yoghurt-package you've ever seen? I do think so. I bought it just because of that cute illustration when I went bio-shopping that week. that brand also offers cheese and other stuff wrapped in super-cute packages (look at they're website: kaskistl.at). so awesome! I didn't eat this yet though, I just wanted to take a picture. I've never eaten sheepmilk-yoghurt (with vanillabean - yumyum) before, so I am actually quite curious about it.
man, how much I wish, more products with unique package-design existed. it would be so much more fun to go shopping. sadly most products have common designs and all look the same. so sad.
I was gifted a package of these type of dried beans, I cooked them, they were very similar to dried white beans and delicious.. I saved a few to try growing some plants, so this summer I did grow a few plants and got a few beans out of them. I was wondering if they would grow, and they did. If I can find the name of the beans, I will add it here.

Cairo & Nile Cruise trip package
Enjoy 7 nights / 8 days Egypt travel packages. All tours will be joining a private tour guided to visit Cairo and Giza pyramids, then fly to Aswan for a Nile cruise to Luxor then enjoy Hurghada.
The local arts centre, Black Swan in Frome, is having an art car boot sale in July, and a printmaking group I belong to is having two stalls.
Just packaging up some open edition copper plate etchings (which shall be for sale at a very reasonable price) :)

I received a package from my friend Ashley today! I decided to share what she wrote on the box, some words, names, expressions that mean something to each of us.
I can't believe I've known her for more than a year already and that I met her randomly on the internet. And she's coming over in June/July! Can't wait!

I had in mind to have the cutest cosmetic packaging ever... and it couldn't turn any better. I know my dearest SL and RL friend Bambi for many years now, she is such a HUGE artist, and has a special sensibility, so I couldn't ask any other person to do it.
She is the owner of Oh! Deer, an amazing store where she is developing better and better her skills as a mesh maker.

Germany, Oberhausen, Gasometer, “Big Air Package”, Christo Vladimirov Javacheff, born in Bulgaria in 1935, he is just known as “Christo”. The artist generates in the accessible interior an exceptional experience of proportions, space & light with this monumental work of art, at present time it is the largest self-supporting indoor sculpture in the world. The project for the Gasometer was conceived in 2010 by Christo & is on view from March 16 to December 30, 2013.
The sculpture, which is installed inside the former gas tank, was made from 20,350 square mtr of semi-transparent polyester fabric & 4,500 mtr of rope. The inflated envelope is more than 90 meters high & 50 mtr in diameter. Its total weight is 5.3 tons & has a volume of 177,000 cubic mtr, nearly spans the distance from wall to wall of the Gasomter, leaving only a small passageway to walk around the sculpture. Two air fans creating a constant pressure of 0.27 millibar to keep the package upright, airlocks allow visitors to enter the package. Illuminated through the skylights of the Gasometer & 60 additional projectors, it creates a diffuse light throughout the interior. Inside of the Big Air Package one does not really realize the heights, outside of the balloon from the top, a 100 mtr & 10 floors high, the project shows its immense size.
Christo & Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon, born in Morocco, were a married couple who created numerous environmental works of art. Their works include among others the wrapping of the Reichstag in Berlin, the 39 km long Running Fence in California, The Gates in New York City's Central Park & the Pont-Neuf Bridge in Paris.
They artist couple first met in Paris in October 1958, their works were credited to just "Christo" until 1994, when the outdoor works & large indoor installations were retroactively credited to "Christo & Jeanne-Claude". They flew in separate planes: in case one crashed, the other could continue their work.
