The PA-22 Tri-Pacer is part of an American family of light strut-braced high-wing monoplane aircraft built by Piper Aircraft from 1949 to 1964.
This one has been converted from a Tri-Pacer to conventional landing gear (tailwheel) and is landing at Cottonwood, AZ. He had quite a bit of quartering crosswind and handled it like a pro.

The owner Ted Climenhaga recently donated the aircraft to the CWHM. The Colt will be used to train the next generation of CWH pilots who will already have lots of flying experience, but little or no time on a taildragger type of aircraft
