I was on the very edge of the cliffs to take this photo. The strategy to overcome acrophobia - Avoided looking down... That was the largest view I could get using 11mm lens in one shot.
This section of horseshoe bend is the private area, plus the tour guide, there were total 8 people, getting there was like on the kind of “horse” wagon, up and down on the road, sunshine, raining, hail, sunshine... what a weather! Arrived another side of horseshoe bend, like that quiet feeling facing to spectacular desert landscape shaped by wind and water.
Dahlia flower usually symbolizes the bond between two people that will last forever. That’s why this flower is commonly used in wedding ceremonies and other arrangements. It symbolizes that the love of a couple that is going to get married will be eternal.
The dahlia flower may also mean that we should stay strong and graceful, even in the most difficult situations. We need to face our problems and overcome all the challenges that exist in our lives.

What happens when you get two days off in the middle of the week? Your rewarded with cold, gray, and overcast days. I went to a local lake thinking I would shoot some long exposures with these dead trees sticking out of the water but it turned out that the water was so still that all I needed to do was compose the image.
I found this area with some rocks above the water and played around with it. I ended up lightening up the foreground rocks to add an element to the viewer. Not sure if it works well or not but it was the best capture of the day. As always, thank you so much for viewing my images and commenting when you see fit. Take care.

The valiant effort put forth by Mr. Mason was Herculean but alas the sheer size of BigFoot aka OTIS, was just too much to overcome. The Champion has been fallen and now all the land will be under the rule of the ruthless Gnomes and OTI!!!! So I hope everyone who thought, the Gnomes were sooo cute and Da Foot was devilishly handsome are happy now. The last person holding back the future onslaught is no more..... like Batman getting his back broken, or Superman dying..... hell even Wolverine being melted into himself... don't ask.... but anyway...
