instead of having a christmas party for our department, we celebrated the holidays with these kids at Philippine Children's Medical Center...it was worth the time and effort!

I find this little girl very interesting. Her facial expression and her cuteness. Too bad she's one of the less fortunate kids here in our country

Good to know that this young kid is aware about the less fortunate kids. Thanks Dirth!

The photograph captures a poignant moment of vulnerability. A homeless man, slumped against the seat of a public transportation bus in Oxnard, California, appears to be lost in a troubled sleep. His weary posture and the subtle tension in his features suggest a life marked by hardship and uncertainty. The scene evokes a sense of both sadness and a quiet desperation, highlighting the invisible struggles faced by many individuals living on the margins of society.

In behalf of the TIPSters, I would like to thank Black Pencil Project Org for giving us the opportunity to help them with their noble works. It has been a very fullfulling experience to be of service to others especially to the locals of Dumalneg, Ilocos Norte, the Isnegs.

I'll be posting more related photos these coming days.

a) Generally this process occurs after each month of work, however, it can occur retroactively for a number of months.

b) In the case of the apprenticeship program, apprenticeship sponsors generally certify hours worked.

This is obviously an over-exposed image... I was eager to shoot this young lady standing on the street that I never bother checking my camera....I forgot to change the setting from shooting indoors...

I should have deleted this but seeing her still visible eyes, full of innocence and expressive emotion..I knew that I have to save this.

Lorong Haji Taib in KL is notorious for the illegal sex workers, transsexuals and addicts in the area. At every corner, dead-end road and alley, transaction is going on. My friends and I managed to take a few pictures only as we tried not to intrude as well as fear for our safety coz we went there on our own after dinner.

There are NGOs such as PT Foundation which regularly provide HIV/AIDS education, prevention, care and support programmes in this area. Poverty cannot be eradicated, and as such, education on prevention of HIV/AIDs is the approach to go. As I was involved in the work of PT Foundation before, I could re-tell so many stories of these sex-workers. Do visit www.ptfmalaysia.org to know more about PT Foundation and their work.

P.S. This area is very dark and the slow exposure meant that I couldn't take the sharpest of pictures.
