Cute little song birds that stop for water and a snack. Colors were inverted for contrasts and effect. I watch my feathered friends out the window!
Shot from my balcony (admitedly somewhat under the influence)
Handheld.
Happy almost full moon to all of you :-)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. ~Robert Brault
Behold, within the leafy shade, Those bright blue eggs together laid! On me the chance-discovered sight Gleamed like a vision of delight.

Woke up to this this other day! What a beautiful sight! Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the small things that your day has to bring. Remember to take it all in.
Dedicated to Jenny of Oregon whose grizzly bears, gypsy horses, foxes, osprey and dogs are in a class by themselves. It that's not enough Jenny also is a wonderful painter and a kind friend!

This quail is reminding us to keep the feeder stocked~ Thanks Jenny for your support and inspiration. Love the grizzlies that hangs on my wall :-)
Seen in project contact thank-you, # 75.
One of the triplets posing for his/her first portrait.
This little fawn is one of a set of triplets. I also saw that we have for sure one set of twins and possibly a second set of twins although the second set would not come out of the woods.
I took this photo through our glass back door.
Final shots of birds found recently around my yard, this one on my favourite DIY perch which is attached to the post that supports a feeder full of nothing but sunflower seeds.
I would like to have had more room around the Jay as it seems cramped with not enough room for the Jay to stand up in fully, but a wider shot would have included some of the feeder, so this is a compromise. Still I am happy with the shot.
For any locals who are interested tomorrow at Ukrainian Village, just east of Elk Island National Park is their annual Vintage Day show and Shine. There were some really nice vehicles there last year (along with lots of Tractors.) Vehicles are display on the lawns and many are in shade under trees, which can make for some nice settings.
This snap was shot from my kitchen window someplace #purple #window #lockdown #Berlin, #Neukölln (April, 2021)

This is the favourite spot for the cardinals to sit.... hunkered down in our cedar hedge. I love the subtle colours of the female.
Don't you hear it? she asked & I shook my head no & then she started to dance & suddenly there was music everywhere & it went on for a very long time & when I finally found words all I could say was thank you.
~ story people
the dance is as the life we are born to, some have the passion of a flamenco while others seek the flow of the waltz ,to each the music will accompany their journey and trust to fate and hope that a partner will appear from the dance floor and will be in step with your feet

One of the new little fawns giving kisses to... maybe his Daddy. This buck seems bigger than a first year buck but I'm not sure. You can see one his antlers right in front of hos ear.
I actually saw 7 little fawns on this day. This is the earliest that I've seen babies. Usually it's in July when they start showing up.
Taken through the door.

A view out my window of this ornamental evergreen, not sure what it is called but I love the droopy branches, here draped with snow.
A simple shot taken out of my window in some nice early morning light peeking through clouds just after sunrise. The light would only last a few minutes and this was the most interesting composition i could find on short notice.
Processed to taste including colour for a dramatic look.
