Picture taken at the Public Garden in Boston. Let's hope that we're now on track to a rosier outlook, as the vaccines are increasingly being rolled out worldwide and we recover slowly from this awful pandemic.
Wishing everyone a pleasant weekend!
Sometimes it feels like we are totally adrift in the world with a demented President at the helm surrounded by fawning lackeys who should know better.
"We live in a pretty bleak time. I feel that in the air. Everything is uncertain. Everything feels like it is on the precipice of some major transformation, whether we like it or not." ~ Sean Lennon
"If we were logical, the future would be bleak, indeed. But we are more than logical. We are human beings, and we have faith, and we have hope, and we can work."
~ Jacques Yves Cousteau
If you've ever wondered why someone decides to go on a tour at four o clock in the morning only to walk an hour through the icy night after another hour's drive, then this should be a first clue to the answer. An outlook in two ways, so to speak.
This photo of the Vilsalpsee in Austria is not the reason, it's more of a gimmick that I've always wanted to do. You'll have to wait a little longer for the proof that every effort was more than worth it for me.

Beautiful to look at. But whoever lives here has to work hard.
