The only hand I'll forever want to have in mine. 💙 You're beyond perfect and make each life for me a better place. I'll never stop showing you how truly amazing you are and what you deserve in any life. Life with you makes perfect sense and I can't imagine it without you but I know I'll never have to either. 😌 I love you my Princesa. 💙

They say if you can love the wrong person that much, imagine how much you can love the right one. With that said, I used to think I knew what I wanted in a person, thought I had it all but then there was you. Right in front of me the whole time but I never knew we'd be here. Everything is so different and so easy with you. I'm not afraid to be myself or to hold back anything and I can just be all in with no fear. You have always been right here always telling me what I deserve and I've done the same for you. Never realizing what we deserved was each other. It all just fell into place randomly as we were just talking, saying we will have the person we deserve one day. We weren't even trying for it but gummy bears, some pineapple juice, and 40 gifs later on a post changed everything. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Everyday with you just makes me look forward to the next and all the days after until I finally get to hold you in my arms forever. This is ours and no one can touch it no matter how much they've tried and continue to. From a long time friend to everything I ever wanted and everything I see for my future in all lives. You were my missing piece to my puzzle but I got you now. I'm keeping you and protecting your beautiful heart forever. 💕
🎧 As long as I'm here, no one can hurt you 🎶
& just like her heart that I stole, I stole this picture too that my talented babygirl did. 💕
Mine. 💕
I love you. 💕
My happy place. 💕
Forever my favorite girl that I can never get enough of. 💕
Addicted to all the feels you give me babygirl. 💕
How are you coping with this cold weather? I know it can be tough to adjust and some of you don’t like it very much but I love the change and we learned to enjoy all weather equally. If I had to pick, my least favorite is humid heat! Here is one of the beautiful freezing blue hours at the lake that we really enjoyed. What do you think?

My long-standing, long-suffering, very significant other half was my accomplice in this.
I like to participate in the challenges/themes for this group - this week rather out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed being pushed.
No other diners were annoyed in the making of this portrait....
gratitude for all visits to my photostream
wishing you a great weekend
"you're my other half"
no.
i need to be my own other half.
which is, i guess, what i'm working on now.
my best friend once asked me who exactly my other half was. and i listed off several people, me, God, daniel, him...
the point is, i didn't know.
and there needs to be a very definite answer to that: me.
i need to stop letting other people complete me.
One of my top five favorite places ever - the Skyline Trail along Mt. Rainier.
Image made with my Nikon F100.
on my way down stairs to watch a bit of TV wearing a new dress I got last Friday. Finally got around to spending the last of my Christmas money.
Found this dress in Newlook after going in to look for some shoes. didn't find any shoes but on the way out this dress caught my eye and as I had a few quid from my in laws burning a hole in my pocket I bought it.
Might be a little short but what the heck who cares other than my otherhalf lol
Sadly Tim's shielding time has come to an end and along with many others, he has to return to his boring job (radiator valve quality control)! An example of how unpleasant his bosses can be is when he got the call on Monday, he asked if he could restart after Easter rather than come in for one day and if necessary he would take annual leave - tomorrow is Good Friday. They refused this, even thought they've survived without him since January! And when his colleague Jamie (who has been working throughout) wanted to leave work early one day, as his Covid jab was out of town, they said no - so he went early regardless! They also didn't let Tim shield during the lockdown we had before Christmas, despite him getting a government letter recommending he stay at home!! My old man's 60 now, but I will try and do some job hunting for him, unless anyone knows anything about early retirement - please message me if you know how to make this happen!
I took this photo to show how long his hair has got since it was cut before last Christmas!
Usually at this time of year we're somewhere else in the world celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. We did have one small holiday booked which has now been cancelled (twice) and we've seen two weddings in August put on hold for now as well. So this year was a stay at home (8th) Wedding Anniversary instead. We've got some Prosecco chilling in the fridge, an Italian on order and a good DVD lined up for later.
Vicky taken at the winter fair outside Battersea Power Station. The lights on the right are lighted flowers, waving a little and somewhat merged in the background. Happy Christmas everyone!
GLW in posing mode...honestly put her in 25°, fill her with a couple of relaxing voddies and suddenly she's giving camera shy Madonna a run for her money :D
During America’s Great Depression (1929-1941), many families could no longer afford to provide adequate care for their children, which led, sadly, to a drastic increase in orphaned or abandoned children. Many children competed for jobs with their elders in an effort to make a contribution to their families.
In Alan Foster’s image, a boy from a working class, alone, looks through an iron fence at the games of well-to-do children. These vastly different worlds of childhood, isolated from each other, are reminiscent of the unjust social order that author Charles Dickens railed against a century earlier.

Alan Foster (1892-1969) illustrated 30 covers for the Post. Many of Foster’s illustrations were joyful and Rockwellian in nature: kids playing sports, going on a hayride, or getting in trouble in school. He illustrated for several magazines of the 1920s, including The New Yorker. In addition to painting and cartooning, Foster sold trucks and had a brief acting career. For three years in the 1940s he created a cartoon series for Collier’s called “Mr. Fala of the White House.” Fala was Franklin Roosevelt’s well known dog. Meet Ray.
I always love to paint flowers, birds, fish, landscape and some ancient Chinese beauty.
Because i alwasy love nature since i am a small child. Even thouigh i growth up in big cities like HongKong and been travel and doing business for many many years throughout my life, but deep inside my heart, i still love nature , small animal, painting , singing and acting the most. Although i am still single, many people think it is kind of lonely and sad. But it work out perfect for me. I think God is fair, he did not give me my otherhalf but he gave me the love for art, songs, and nature which workout great for me. I try to enjoy everyminute of my life to fullest.
I love doing Lotus flowers, because it give me a very happy, relax feeling. Many famous senior artist had given high opinion on my works, i really thankful for their kindness and support.
Lotus flowers is consider a very higher form of flowers in ancient Chinese culture. It symbolize elegent, simplicity, strong gentleman character (because it was uuntouch by the stressful and muddy environment in which she growth and she still blooming sobeautifully. ),
Some people love it and consider she is a highest form of flowers because you can only see her from distance and you can never play with her in your hand, because she growth in the middle of the lakes. You had to admire her and her beauty from a distance.
For many Buddhism beliver, Lotus is a holy flower. Becase Goodess of Mercy sitting on top of a large lotus flowers. And their teaching always stress people talk like a Lotus ( that mean only talk good thing about other people, dont try to step other people down by talking bad thing about other ).....
This is why many traditional Chinese love to have Lotus flowers in their collection.
