This Ork Base was made for War Hammer 40K. It is made of Chip board, illustration board, card stock, tissue rolls, wire, and foamcore. It was textured with sand, paint and spackle.
My friend Rob helped me paint it.

My Ork Stompa in process.
Sprayed overall Mephiston Red, then a couple of coats of Leadbelcher on the arms.
Horns are Screaming Skull washed in Agrax Earthshade.
Now working on doing various panels different colors, because it's so obviously done from bits and pieces stolen from anything they could get their hands on.
Slightly pinkish variety of Dactylorhiza incarnate sap ochroleuca. In Sweden it is found in rich bogs/marshes in limestone areas. This one was photographed on Gotland.
Deff Dread. I used the new cracking basing paint for the mud under its feet, and plenty of Ryza Rust dry-brushed around parts that would see corrosion.
Photo of the Ork, taken at E3 2010.
Want to see this up close? We'll have the Ork at Games Day 2010. Info here.
