Another Ork. Probably my favorite of the two I've done so far. His rocket turned out especially good.

I shall get back to painting Ork Boyz when I have a break. I am starting school next Monday. I do know I need practice at checkers! :)
I have had this unpainted on the shelf for a while now. I wanted to improve my painting skills before i brought him back out. The metal base colour was done with a Leadbeltcher base, followed by a wash of Nuln oil, then a wash with Athonian Camoshade. The Athonian Shade gives the metal a green tinge weather it nicely. The yellow was a base coat of Averland Sunset, and washed with Seraphim Sepia Shade. It was then weathered by using a few of the techniques from the Forgeworld Masterclass books. This will be the first piece from a Bad Moon Big Mek list, using the army list from Imperial Armour 8.
A warboss i painted using only paints from the new paint range which i enterd into the 40k catergory for my stores national painting comp.
Best seen LARGE. Next I am painting the last Ork Dethkopta, and finally the Warboss. They are nearing completion! Which is the better background: this building or the new photo-studio technique? I need to know, please. :)
