Mixed media encaustic with my photos, hand-drawn and painted images, India ink, tea-stained linen, found papers. The piece is made from a book cover.
For those who don’t know, encaustic means something that’s covered in wax.

This abstract landscape represents transformations, travels and transcendency. Everything is connected and moving by the element of water. The horizontal water level is crossed by the verticals of the growth and direction of vapor. The concentric transparent-darkening pots may remind you to edge of the drying puddles....or the coffee lines left on the side of your cup, after every sip.
The trees are the ones who connect.
