“My favorite part about being an optometrist in the Navy is that I am part of a team that provides high-quality, patient-centered care,” Jimenez Myers said. “I am easily able to consult with any of our other providers or specialties. I also love that we train our staff to the highest level of their license and ability. This is necessary because we may be required to care for patients in austere and remote environments.”
