An optimistic great grey heron fishing in the River Dodder in south Dublin.
There's a lot of Lightroom colour editing on this one. I changed the white balance to fluorescent and then used the circular mask tool to remove the blue from the heron and a second time to darken a bright white glare from one the rocks. Then a few more general tweaks on shadows and highlights.

No matter what is happening in your life, you have to be always optimistic... looking at the good side, you will feel much easier to be happy in your life~~~
The grasses or weeds~ they never growing for anyone... they always being themself and always optimistic, continueing to grow, to live~~~ despite people don't like them~~ because this is life, the life they are living~ so they choose to be optimistic... and living happy forever and ever~~~
In a more optimistic version, after the Flood, the sun shines again and gives warm, golden hues to the water reflections and the background. But the clock is ticking, the wait has been long and nature has been far too forgiving. Remember, there is NO planet B.

I'm excited and eagerly waiting to see what 2021 has in store. My hope for you this year is all the normal stuff like love, laughter, peace, and happiness but more importantly this year my wish for you is an optimistic outlook, comfort through the unknown, and the ability to ask for help whenever you may need. What is Helmi waiting for? I am optimistic that she is waiting for me, her "mom". In addition to waiting for me, she also waits for dog candies in my pocket. She always receives them as a reward when she has behaved in the desired way. In this photo ( taken a year ago ) she’s waiting for her award because she kept sitting still while I took photos. She has evolved a lot in a year, nowadays as soon as she sees me stopping and taking out the camera, she is sitting next to me. She walks completely free, without a leash, as still in this photo. She has become a good girl. She has earned her candies.
What am I waiting for? I look forward to the sun, sparkling bright rays of the sun as in this photo. I haven’t seen them in a few weeks, every day it has been snowing... a lot. Hey if anyone wants some snow, I can post... 😁 Finland.

After I cut my little applte tree much to much in the year before last year and it had a break in case of apples, its looking much better this year. I’m quite optimistic, that I will have something to pick.
Nachdem ich meinen kleinen Apfelbaum im vorletzten Jahr entwas zu deutlich zurückgeschnitten hatte und er in Sachen Äpfel eine kleine Pause eingelegt hatte, sieht es dieses Jahr wieder deutlich besser aus. Ich bin recht zuversichtlich, dass ich da auch etwas ernten kann.

An optimistic Short-eared Owl on the prowl at dusk.
Conditions for this image were challenging. The setting sun was on the horizon and the barely visible subject about 250 feet away, flying at full speed.
Considered rare for this area and time of the year.
One of these days, or years, I am going to get to photograph this location in perfect conditions. Near Tibbermore in Perthshire, Scotland.

A sense of "almost" normalcy has arrived finally. Time to make up for lost time..speak your own mind...don't listen to negative people...be optimistic....make your own decisions. Ignore social media. Life is what you make it.

The Christians tend to celebrate Easter-peopled-ness,
not in any proud or holier-than-thou manner,

kind of way.
But, we are all an Easter people,
at least we Canadians
save those in Victoria or Point Pelee.
Everywhere else, in this often frigid place,
and some of those Scandinavian places too,
Siberia maybe, and Greenland (ha!),
we and they are Easter people.
We live the life of rebirth,
relife, rekindled in our frozen ground,
crocus, snowdrop, scilla,
poking through winter’s death
every early Spring.

This optimistic American goldfinch male is starting to grow his golden spring plumage in even if the weather still looks and feels like winter here at Lake Meyer Park. The ground is pure white as I write this tonight.

Il y a des chansons qui traversent les époques, les genres musicaux, les modes.
« Over the rainbow » est l’une de celles-là
Elles expriment l’espoir, le rêve, la liberté… souvent avec des paroles simples, mais toujours poétiques et optimistes, portées par des mélodies prenantes, émouvantes, humaines.
Chantées avec des styles aussi différents que ceux de Keith Jarrett ou de Bob Marley, elles nous touchent profondément.

OVER THE RAINBOW
There are songs that go through ages, the fashions and the musical genres.
"Over the Rainbow" it one of those songs;
They express hope, dreams, freedom . . . often with simple words, but always poetic and optimistic, carried by gripping, moving, humane melodies.
Sung with styles as different as those of Keith Jarrett or Bob Marley, these mythical songs touch us deeply.

This little Blue Tit looks happy that it is a sunny day but he is apprehensive about the long winter ahead. Living in the UK I know how he feels... never trust a Politician.
Strengths: Courageous, determined, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic, honest, passionate
Weaknesses: Impatient, moody, short-tempered, impulsive, aggressive
well... the strengths outweigh the weaknesses... haha!
An optimistic Monday afternoon. The weather forecast looked promising for the clouds to break up just enough for a nice sunset. Unfortunately it wasn't too be. It did provide some interesting, muted copper and blues in the sky though.
A Bar called 'This Month Only' makes perfect sense in our Pandemic age. The future is not predictable, as unprecedented powers were given to the incompetent city bureaucrats. With steady rising prices who can afford a drink in a licensed establishment anyway. Drink alone, for less, if you can spend money on anything other then the basics. Of course 'basic' is individually defined measurement. Dupont Street, named after George Dupont Wells, this used to be an industrial street. So far the street name is safe, until some 'researcher' discovers that George used foul language when he was a teenager or said something what may not sound quite kosher in 2022. (Toronto likes to reverse history, by just renaming streets)
