One of my favorite old garden fences at sunset on a steamy Summer evening. Happy Fence Friday, my friends, have a wonderful last weekend of July! :)
A black and white, Lensbaby photo of a weathered old wooden barn in a snow covered field. With a focus on the structure, the lens adds a bit of blur around the edges of the photo. The scene evokes the quiet solitude of a rural winter landscape, where the history of the structure tells a silent story of it’s survival against the elements.

An older photo taken with Voightlander Color-Ultron 50mm f1.8. I had a bad luck with this lens. I bought two of them and bought had the same problem. Basically focusing helicoid disassembles and iris breaks. Other than that it is the same optic and look and feel of image as Carl Zeiss Planar 50mm f1.8.
Another Hebe, this time given false colours with Alien Skin Exposure X4.

Photographed in the early hours of the morning, this beautiful wild Otter paused momentarily here to check me out.
A stunning animal & an absolute privilege to watch & photograph.
The light was challenging here, so this one's a little grainy, but I hope the subject makes up for it.
Incidental photo: Snow tried to destroy the tree and I had to take it away.

We have some various tall ornamental types of grass growing in spots in the yard. We don't cut it - just the regular grass. The breeze tends to gently blow. through the tall grasses giving them some movement in the breeze.
Processed in ON1 Photo Raw 2023 with a small texture added. Used the Lensbaby Composer Pro with the Sweet 50 optic and a macro filter on the camera to take the shot.
I may not always get to thank you for every fave or reply to a comment that you might leave here on my image but, just know each comment is read and very much appreciated.
There's just something about the simplicity of a low key, full face portrait. This one wasn't even planned. My lens tends to zoom in on its own when it's pointed downward. The weight of the lens elements overcomes the friction and I often look down to find the lens zoomed way out. As I lifted the camera and looked through the viewfinder, I noticed the tight zoom, but instinctively snapped the shutter anyway.
