Opel Astra OPC

The first generation of the Opel Zafira was built from 1999 until 2005. This is the sporty OPC version. It has a 2.0 litre turbo engine with 200 PS. It was the fastest MPV in Europe at that time.

An OPC Astra I wanted to spot for a long time. And ultimately I spotted it twice (later better photos are coming soon, either here or on Instagram). The reason I decided to upload this photo are those nice wheels, which weren't present on the car when I spotted it second time. OPC model of Astra H has 2.0 240 HP petrol engine.

50 Jahre Opel Test Center Rodgau-Dudenhofen

Im November 2012 gab Opel bekannt im Rahmen der VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring 2013 einen eigenen Markenpokal auszutragen, den „Astra OPC Cup“. Als Basis hierzu dient ein Astra J OPC, welcher von Kissling-Motorsport professionell für die Kundenteams aufgebaut wird. Das Fahrzeug leistet in der Renn-Konfiguration etwa 300 PS und 400 Nm, verfügt außerdem über diverse Kohlenstofffaser Anbauteile, eine 378er-Performance-Friction-6-Kolben-Bremsanlage, Motorsportfelgen der Firma ATS im Format 9,5×18 Zoll und eine Leichtbau-Rohkarosserie mit integrierter Sicherheitsstruktur.
