It's time for Hime to be a bunny again, just like in the old days. Each year, when summer comes, she pays a visit to her friends in the forest. But the forest they live in protects itself from the intruders with a sweet mist, making ill-minded people or sinister beings shy away from the sight of it and give up their thoughts of entering the forest.
It has no such effect on Hime, of course. The only thing is, she dresses as a bunny so her friends are able to pick her out from the distance and know that it's her ;) (or, she simply loves to dress as a bunny and gladly uses this as an excuse. Yes, possibly ^^)
"I wish Fuchsia could come with me," she complained. "We discovered this forest and made friends here together, after all."
She left home at sunrise and finally arrived. They must have seen her by now. Oh such a lovely day it's going to be!
(Note: Fuchsia caught a cold. Nothing serious, but weather has been so unstable here last week. She is resting and will be well soon ^_^)
I'm afraid we don't have long stories today. Just a glimpse into the daily life of sweet, sweet Toffee ^__^ She was leaving for the book shop, also to buy some stationery, when I insisted to take a quick photo of her. Because you look so lovely in copper tones my dear Toffee <3
Grape has been lazy lately. She also kept telling me she was not in the mood, when I wanted to take some photos of her.
On the way back home yesterday, the sun had just started setting. The day was still very bright, but it was that kind of daylight when the sun is not so young as in the morning hours, but tired and more orange than yellow... When it lets us know that evening is near. It was exactly then, when Grape sighed. "It's all because of summer," she said. "Summer distracts me! You know me, I always love to wander around, to be in the nature. But in summer, all I want to do is shopping!"
The circus is serious business. Especially Ruby's circus, where one of a kind performances are held and where the most unique troupe works day and night to amaze people of all ages and make it an unforgettable night for the audience.
In Ruby's circus, there are many animals, too, but they are not "educated" or "taught" to act in a specific way which contrasts with their nature and happiness. The animal staff of Ruby's circus decided to join the troupe on their own and act when they find the performance interesting.
It was the flamingo Cerise's idea to prepare a show with the velvet hoop because the hoop became some kind of obsession for her recently. Seeing her play with it all the time, Ruby came up with the idea that she could do an acrobatic performance with it and offered help. It's my job to wander about in the circus and catch the moments of their lives, so here they are, rehearsing for Cerise's show. No, Ruby didn't know I was coming and she definitely did not get dressed especially for the photo shoot. She is simply like this, always.
You know how deep the friendship of Hime and Mr. Luxe is, don't you? He didn't want her to let go of his hand even to help Eloise or to do some simple chores.
Yesterday, Hime went to chat with the girls to another room while he was sleeping. When he woke up and saw that Hime was nowhere to be found and most importantly, noticed that neither his right nor his left paw was held by her, he got cross!
Now he sits there on the floor, all alone and doesn't speak with her. Or anybody. Hime was so sad and nervous, her stomach began to ache. Oh what should we do now..?
"I said I'm sorry... You were sleeping and I didn't wanted to disturb you, we were having a conversation, you see..."
"But you are my only friend..."
"Oh my dear..."

Spring is almost here, that means circus season is opening soon, too! Ruby is busy nowadays, she rushes between rehearsals and the tailor's every day. There is so much to be done and so many show dresses to be tried on!
"Perhaps this dress needs a bit more lace? Or color? What do you think? or should we leave it plain and pure..? And I think I need it a bit tighter," Ruby asks her tailor and her best friend as well.
Would you like to see Ruby on stage? And would you like to meet her tailor? I definitely would! I've been feeling tired and uninspired lately, but the girls are helping me, so I hope I can make it ^^

There are sure signs of spring if you really look for them:
1. When some bunnies, who have been staying home all day in winter, can be found in parks and meadows;
2. When they can't resist the beauty of flowers and start wearing flower crowns instead of their fluffy bunny ears;
3. And when they (and this time you too) feel the need to take off the jackets under the warm spring sun.
When all these three requirements are met, it's said spring has really come. Officially approved by Hime the bunny. ♥ ♫ ♪
