Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is On Top. So after a very long and complicated brainstorming on this subject, I decided to go with a tiny wooden bike on top of a green pencil. Spring is just around the corner and we see more and more bikes on the road. So that was basically my inspiration: bikes and spring. I’m not a bicycle person. I must admit I have truly hard time biking . I’m always afraid I will fall… so far it never happened yet but the fear is still there so that is why I prefer running when my sons and husband are biking. But of course, a tiny red bike on top of a pencil is another story…I hope you will like it.

Driving along the Westfjords involves lots of fjord circumnavigation and also lots of "table mountain" crossings and I could not tell which of the two is more fun. But I remember clearly the moment when I stood here on top of one of those flat topped mountains gazing down into the next fjord, its mountain range and the beginning of a mellow sunset and I felt like nothing else in the world mattered but the moment .

The cat is 2cm and the car is 3cm, so what with the around space, I'm just within the permitted 3 inches.

Hello my amazing friends !
Today we have a flamingo on a top of a pencil… holding on agains all odds and breaking all laws of physics (especially gravity). I don’t remember what inspired this balancing act picture but all I can say it is that in my opinion green makes truly a great background for flamingos. Happy green background for flamingos day (it must be an official « day » celebrated somewhere, I’m sure !!). I’m having a glass (or a bottle) of wine for that occasion for sure !

A lovely and unseen before sighting for myself whilst out in Finland, alot larger bird than I had imagined, really come ontop of me whilst doing some landscape photography, luckily I was shooting with the Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM that allowed me to get the shot.

The penguin closest to the water kept looking like he/she was going to jump in then changed his/her mind over and over again. It was kind of comical... ^_^
