Skyline Trail should be renamed Marmotville, I've never been on it and not seen these fellows. This guy was sunning himself on a rock watching over the Mrs. and his little uns until some dummy with a tripod showed up and drew a crowd. ahem..... After a lot of what are you looking at and what are they's a lady with a cell phone went off trail to get a better pic of him and he leaped up to give her some what for. The guy next to me asked if they bite, I replied 'this isn't a zoo......' The crowd dispersed.

I wanted a picture of the dancerā¦ painted on the window of the shop selling tickets for the opera house ā¦
Seeing the guy through the window, gesturing to someone unseen, was just one of those lucky moments for the diligent street photographer
This tiny acorn is about a half-inch tall. I managed to get it to lean on its tip, and got the light just right.
Shot taken close to the famous hiking scene "Trolltunga" in Norway. Colors and light was onpoint!

Not visible by any roads---Illilouette Fall is tucked in Illiloutte Creek Canyon below Glacier Point and eludes most visitors. The obscure fall delights those on the way down from Glacier Point on the Panorama Trail.
It was pretty cold on this night..and one of the harder hikes i had with a full pack on, did I mention it was COLD!?!?!?!
