Chilling out on a wintery day back in June at Day's Bay beach. I love the way the reflected light is almost twinkling around the woman's silhouette and the man; waiting for the ferry to Wellington appears to be watching over her. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it until something better comes along that is. Feel free to add your two cents :)
Have a great day everyone and thanks so much for your visit. xx

The Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Bali are famous for their beautiful scenes of rice paddies and their innovative irrigation system. Known as the subak, the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system is said to have been passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century. Tegallalang forms the 3 most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan.

The Procession of Silence in San Luis Potosi is an annual event to mourn the Passion of Christ. During the event there are the sounds of drums and bugles, but no participant or spectator speaks, giving the event its name. I photographed this lady inside the church, she is member of the Montecillo brotherhood.
