One of the critic asked my friend UKTAMOY, why do you write poetry of love always and why don't you write poems against terrorists, fundamentalism and corrupt politicians. She said they will all die one day but love will remain forever.
Taken with my old Minolta SLR camera with filter. One of my faves from Photography 100.

The macromonday theme for today, 11/29, is treasured. This is definitely a one of a kind piece- a wooden ship’s hatch that my mom chose and then had made into a coffee table.
….. (Btw, Late last night I had posted one in the photostream that was a screenshot of a goof- I had captured the hatch on a video instead of a photo and I couldn’t get the video to post, so I took a screenshot of one frame. Wasn’t sure it would be acceptable, so I started all over this morning. )
later....... i have now replaced the picture with a better focused one- same square crop which is under 3"... am also going to show y'all a better ruler context picture.
