After a long day of recording footage for Noel's project and fighting off ghost surfboards, it was nice to find a place to take a well deserved break ;)

Oh no...look what Flickr and its many pretty hearts have done to me! My husband and I don't usually make much of Valentine's Day (love is for all year round, right?) but with a bit of time on my hands today I was inspired to have a go at making something of the heart theme myself. And now I'll have Bob Marley running round my head all day...ah well, there are worse things!
A very Happy Valentine's Day to those of you who celebrate it :)
As we're entering our Fall Season here in the Deep South, I can't think of anything better than boating or kayaking amongst the Spanish moss draped cypress trees.
So peaceful and tranquil ...... An experience like no other.....

Today was a challenging day
The day started perfect, was going swimmingly
I was really living in a higher state of being
Been reading a lot about being in the now and meditating a lot
I was a smiling chirpy little lass
Until that phone call
Followed by a few more
It's going to be interesting times for my family
I learnt some big lessons today
To see if I can really live my truth despite obstacles
With the new tools in my kit I feel like I can do anything
Fell down today and picked myself up
Dusted myself off and decided not to trip over obstacles anymore
I choose my path
Next time I'm walking around it, jumping over it or flying above it
I learnt a big lesson today
For that and my friends who support me I am thankful
All is as it's meant to be
There is no good or bad
It just is
Life's too short to dwell on things
Been surfing nearly everyday exploring every pixel of the wave. Flips are new for me, don't laugh too hard :P
