This is a big crop of Northern Gannets. They were at least a mile away.Thousands of them flying out over the ocean. When you go to the shore to shoot birds, one hopes to see a Gannet or two, but this day they were everywhere. They flew over our heads coming from the left and the right. Just wish the light was better for the close shots.Never seen so many at one time. A sight one will never forget! Barnegat Lighthouse State Park NJ.
Green Heron 8596 - found this going through some of last year's stuff. Backlit, but a great expression on the bird's face.

Oh My God. I have seen faces in lots of things all the time. I never knew there was a word for that. So cool. This was awesome.
I had a few great ideas on this.
