It’s just an old house near one of the universities here in town. Probably has seen a few students come and go over the years. You may want to pass on it, however, even if someone was kind enough to leave the light on….
Ghent is a port city in northwest Belgium, at the confluence of the Leie and Scheldt rivers. During the Middle Ages it was a prominent city-state. Today it’s a university town and cultural hub.

Remembering the laughter and the better times, the young ones playing on the porch or under the tree. All so busy now with no time for visits, except for Christmas. Still, it’s hard to put away those playthings….thinking “maybe tomorrow”.
