(OKC ice storm October 2020) A tremendously moving place

It was a night that I was practicing my hand at long exposures back in 2012. I was wanting to get long streaks from the cars, and decided to pack it up after several shots. For this one I bumped the tripod while the exposure was still going. A mistake I felt at the time, but now it is the one I like more.

Twenty Six years ago today the OKC federal building was destroyed by a bomb. The memorial is on the site of the former building

Our new streetcars are up and running in OKC

I saw him sitting by the fountain with his red hat and bag. He mentioned he was from Boston. He had traveled here to take pictures of the street car. It was his thing, taking pictures of streetcars all around. He never would have thought OKC would have one.

I asked him the story of his red hat, he said he had gotten it in Ottawa on a sunny day years back.

I was doing food delivery and this small storm started putting down bolts, so I got my camera
