i bought a tote for my sister in the matching blue fabric of this print and just had to have this wristlet when it became available in ohsoretro's shop.
i absolutely adore this fabric and adrienne's sewing skills are amazing! this is my new "purse" that i take with me to the market, since my last one (a pucca purse) fell apart.
Aw! These chubby birds are a variation of Christmas ornaments I make. They're usually ornate doves with long tails and ribbon to tie onto branches but I had a brainstorm when I was putting away my decorations this year that I should make some in my vintage fabrics that I'm hording. I love how they turned out and have made two of each so I can keep a set for myself. :)
This particular A40 Farina Mark II was in excellent condition when it was spotted as an exhibit at the 2014 Crich Tramway Village, Classic Transport Gathering on Saturday the 23rd of August 2014. This particular Austin was made back in 1962 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 21st of August 1962 so it has presumably lived in the UK all its life. This one does have its original engine according to the DVLA, a 1.0 Litre (0948cc) Straight-Four A-Series engine which runs on petrol. This particular car, when seen, it was incredibly original which is always nice to see in a classic car, as there were no spottable changes.
This particular B GT was in fantastic condition when it was spotted as an exhibit at the 2014 Crich Tramway Village, Classic Transport Gathering on Saturday the 23rd of August 2014. This particular MG was made back in 1979 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 1st of August 1979 so it has presumably lived in the UK all its life. This one does have its original engine according to the DVLA, a 1.8 Litre (1798cc) Straight-Four B-Series engine which runs on petrol. This particular car, when seen, had been given the addition of mud flaps which weren’t original to the MGB but they are MG items, and also when see was owned by Chris Musson, who also owned a Ford Anglia and Moggie Minor, both police vehicles.
