Delivery Day (3): Solar Trailer (Before): by Side Street Projects

Interior shot of the Solar Trailer on the day we took delivery. A lot of people ask us "why didn't you put solar panels on your Spartan Trailers?" The answer is simple:

(1) the aluminum fuselage couldn't handle the weight (solar panels are quite heavy)

(2) if we put the solar panels on our office trailer, that would mean the office trailer would have to be in full sun all the time... not a very attractive option for a giant metal tube in Pasadena, CA (gets hot here).
