Thanks for visiting!

Nachdem ich bei meinem letzten Post mein Motiv im Gegenlicht angeblitzt habe um es Detailreich zu sehen, gibt es hier nur ein Gegenstück ohne Blitz.

After I've flashed my motive into the back light at my last post to see it rich in detail, there is now one counterpart without a flash.

In 2017 we visited Key West and took a sea plane to Fort Jefferson NP, an island off the coast of Florida. This image was snapped through a window of the plane as we flew over long stretches of clear, shallow water where ocean currents form underwater rivers of white sand.

The Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) is in San Francisco, and the city is doing its best to put on a good show. Laser light shows abound, mostly downtown. These light beams have been showing up nightly to the west, just offshore. This image was taken through an upstairs window. I used my macro lens, since it has the both fast exposure and magnification. Tomorrow I hope to get a view of the big light show on the other side of the hill.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you for visiting!

Last night the weather/surf report was looking pretty good for today to produce. So I woke up this morning & drove to the usual spot & it was delivering the goods:) The sun was peaking out through the clouds & barrel after barrel came flying over my head for about 45 minutes. I hadn't seen the inside of a barrel in over a week so I am still super stoked! Then, one wave later the wind shifted onshore, brought the fog with it, & ruined everything! haha. It was an awesome 45 minutes though!

Today was pretty special. The Ocean is alive & it allowed me to be a part of it; even if it was only for a short time:)

Thank you to everybody for this awesome week! I haven't had much time in the water so it has been super fun making some new flickr friends!
