The boy was shy. He quietly asked if he could pet Midnight. I asked him if he wanted to throw the red ring. They bonded after a couple of throws and the throws continued. The boy had found his dog and the dog had found his boy. His parents thanked me afterwards. A shy boy had a wonderful time with the black, curly, swimming dog : )

I couldn't believe how cool Midnight was about this! Ben had been watching for a while and told me that the other dog would jump into the ocean when Midnight was close to shore and would "escort" him in. Perhaps the dog was a Swim Fan : ) He wasn't trying to grab the ring. He seemed to just want to be a part of the homestretch.

He stayed with her for a long time even though she could only throw 2 feet. He could have retrieved it and brought it to his Daddy for a swim at any time, but he loves making children happy. He's such a sweet boy!

I might go to the ocean on Sunday!...Wish me luck!...It's been 5 weeks and I'm going crazy! I'm getting so desperate, that I've been a BAD boy, jumping into the lake 5 times since my grooming : ) What do they expect? What's the point of living in Florida if you can't go swimming at the beach? ( my parents think it's cold now )

Day 12 of our Tanzanian Expedition gave us a chance to see the Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys in the Jozani Forest. Our afternoon was spent playing in the ocean and generally enjoying the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

This beautiful new design of turtle is a part of our Ocean collection. This turtle was created by hand by my husband in the torch. Pretty shades of green and blue create a beautiful flower in his shell, while a mix of aqua and beige make up his head and flippers.
This beautiful turtle hangs from his head (which is the bail). No glue or any other material was used to create this turtle; purely borosilicate glass. And no presses! This turtle measures about 2 inches in length and 2 inches in width (at the widest parts). Turtle hangs from a 16 inch solid sterling silver rolo chain.
