It seems our government (via it's draconian economic cuts) are set on doing the same to the memory of Aneurin Bevan and his proud humanitarian principles & accomplishments as the tree dwellers have done to his statue in Cardiff. Everyone who's ever benefited from our National Health Service (NHS) in any way at all, yet knows little or nothing of Aneurin Bevan, should blush ... at least a little.

If not for 'Nye' and the wonderful doctors & nurses of the NHS , I could not have afforded to survive the last 14 tears.

(EDIT: Make that 24 years now.)
