As far back
Into that corner

Years ago as a child
Smiling along with it
Until the time came
When dusk settled in
And smiles fade...
A little girl
No more...
Fully grown now
Into the shadow
That corners her
If only...
She could feel
Could touch
The sun again
Knowing how close
She is...
To the warmth
On her back
On her arms
Under her feet
If she just stepped
Into it, onto it
Onto the floorboards
Just what is it
That holds her back
From taking that step

This isn't really as good one as the one I posted almost a year ago but whatever..
I'm concindering starting a 365. But not sure I'm ready yet...... seems sooooooso scary..!!!!!!! AND I'm like a turtle when it comes to get things done. I'll really use a whole day to just get the upload done.....hahah....

I stood up on this wall with my photographer in place but looked right and saw some Chinese people. If I can see them . . . so I ran further left
Some what different in a contemporary view although the "fast" lines are still in situ today in the company of lots of weeds, of course. As early as 1964 the four roads beyond Kirkham had been reduced to two and the up and down fast were still awaiting lifting in 1967 as was the goods through road. In the background those MOD building were disused and have subsequently been replaced by little boxes for hard-working families and their personal chariots. It all looks nice and tidy but for not much longer ... sadly!
