When the evening falls and the sun is setting....Canada Place catches the last sunrays..

Canada Place is an iconic landmark and venue for world-class events and inspirationally Canadian experiences, located in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront. Canada Place is home port to the Vancouver-Alaska cruises, and houses Vancouver Convention Centre, Pan Pacific Hotel and World Trade Centre.

Brockton Point Lighthouse

Brockton Point Lighthouse is located at the east of Stanley Park and the location offers a spectacular inlet view. This magnificent view includes the docks and shipping lanes important to Canadian trade and commerce on its western shores, and a stunning city view of both North Vancouver and the Downtown Core.

In front of the "skyscrapers" you see Canada Place, home port to the Canada/Alaska cruises. Canada Place also houses Vancouver Convention Centre, Pan Pacific Hotel and World Trade Centre.

This is my third Black-billed Magpie in Metro Vancouver this year which is crazy. This is also a juvenile bird that probably wandered down from Lilooet.

The Seymour River makes its way down North Van.

Water cascades down a rocky slope in North Vancouver.

The sunset bursts through the rain clouds over Snug Cove on Bowen Island and reflects off the Howe Sound. Langdale, Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast just on the other side of the island. To the left of the image, an angry cloud unleashes a barrage of rain near Valhalla. Captured in the rain yesterday evening from Whytecliff Park, West Vancouver, BC. 04-11-2015

A curtain of clouds with a sprinkling of snow.

The road curves up ahead under cloudy skies.

A big old tree stump gathering moss in a forest.

The ferns & trees abound in North Van.

There’s a clearing up ahead.

Lions Gate Bridge spans over the road below going into Vancouver.
