"Dopo tanti anni e un giorno

Quando il mare sembra calmo

Vieni fuori ancora tu

Con quel nome da straniera

Da chi è sempre stata sola

E da un pò non deve più"

Totally watched Zombieland for like the millionth time today :D hahaha. I'm not wearing any makeup in this picture and I did not do my hair :) Anyways, today was awesome so I decided that enjoying the little things is important. My life is starting to suck less. :) I notice I wear a lot of yellow. ahahha. Well, for no reason whatsoever I feel like tagging people, so I shall :)

0. I always do 12 facts on flickr instead of 10 because 12 is better :)

1. I'd so much rather hang out with guys, girls are so catty and ridiculous. Guys have adventures :)

2. I'm a sarcastic smartass 99% of the time.

3. I'm allergic to pineapple and menthol.

4. I always think about sex during church O_O

5. I have a phobia of ice skating. Like, I'm terrified of getting my fingers run over and cut off. :(

6. I usually always always always have my nails painted.

7. The train passes through my town every night, and I love being able to hear it in my bedroom before falling asleep. It's perfect.

8. I have this weird obsession with collarbones, wrists, hip bones, and spines. I think they're beautiful :)

9. I have a very strong, aggressive personality and it's intimidating; most people can't handle me :)

10. I put ranch dressing on like everything; pizza, onion rings, french fries, you name it.

11. Talking about the end of the world really frightens me.

12. It takes an army to get me out of bed in the morning. I'm like a hibernating bear; I love my sleep and you will regret it if you bother me or wake me up.

Probably the LAST time she voluntarily picked up a camera. I think she was faking to suck me into the relationship! Taken in October of 2004.

Kidding! She does not condone drinking at work… unless the boss pours first out of HIS flask. Geeky technical note: there is a strange color shift in this shot that I tried to eradicate in photoshop. Not sure I really succeeded... but I'm always in there trying.

1) The soles of her feet are dirty from going barefoot from the time she got home from work on Friday.

2) She's got several paintball gun bruises on her arms, thighs, and calf.

3) Plus, she's got a bunch of scratches from a four-wheeler crash (someone must have switched the gas for the break!)

At this rate I'm going to be dating a blond headed, one-armed torso in a few years. Let's not forget that she is gazing happily into her newest Transformers painting, a piece she personally conceived of and commissioned - while wearing a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends hoodie! Aren't girls supposed to grow out of all this by their mid twenties?!?!=)

Again, I kid. But seriously, where do they come up with these session topics? Also, there was something funky going on with the clouds. I found the only spot in San Diego that wasn’t 105 degrees and sunny.

Another nice place to have used HDR/tonal mapping. But like dogs and children, Sarah will not hold still enough for three exposures. I need a better burst mode…

…it is at these times, when I notice the geeks following us around the store to get a closer look at her. I am then reminded about how many comic book nerds and fellow computer geeks I would have to kill if humans competed for mates like wild animals. I should look into protection.

Sarah shopping for posters at one of the ComicCon booths. You can’t trip over a cosplay fan without landing in a pile of obscure posters. Not a very good shot by me, but this kind of shows my friends and family some of the convention’s scale. Always good to have photographic proof!

A picture of one of Sarah's new commissions (by Tone Rodriguez, more pics in the photostream). Taken outside the Wizard World convention center on the way up to our hotel room. If you look closely, you'll see that the card Gambit is holding matches one of her Flash/Gambit tattoos.
