Posées sur les ruines de l'église de Botmel, à Callac, elles en soulignent l'élégance
"Dentelles Nomades", ce sont trois tisseuses de liens unies par le même désir de faire rêver, avec une affection particulière pour les dentelles : Caroline McAvoy et Françoise De Vito (plasticiennes) et Florence De Vries (licière d’Aubusson). Désireuses de mettre en place des projets pour métamorphoser un lieu, valoriser le patrimoine local et les espaces naturels ou culturels, elles ont ainsi su mettre en valeur huit sites de Callac, dont ce site des ruines.
L'église Notre-Dame de Botmel ou de Saint-Baumaël date de la fin du 15ème siècle est en ruines. Elle était l'église paroissiale de Callac jusqu'au 19ème siècle. Il subsiste, de l'ancien édifice, trois arcades de la nef, ainsi que la tour et le clocher.
Reconstruite en partie au 17ème et au 18ème siècles (en 1784), l'abside (le cœur) de Botmel (œuvre de Le Gac) date de 1628, la tour (œuvre de Louis Le Goaziou) date de 1633-1634, les chapelles nord datent de 1644 et le transept (œuvre de Pierre Claude Duchemin) date de 1734. Sa nef possédait jadis des bas-côtés de 9 travées.
Des deux cloches qui se trouvaient autrefois dans la tour, il n’en reste plus qu’une elle se trouve dans le clocher de l’église Saint Laurent. Elle fut baptisée en 1467.

The image of the car is a photo I took at a car show. I used ChatGPT to close the hood and tailgate window, and relocated the car to a ChatGPT AI-created background. I just parked it in somebody else's driveway. The image was then further processed with ON1 Photo RAW Max 2026 and PSE 2026. I guess you'd call this a blend of a Photo and AI.
