A "jungle bunny" is a Marine. Is a recovery kit something to extract a Marine from the battlefield using an airplane, a la James Bond? See these articles and books about the Fulton Skyhook / recovery kit:

John Ellis: Maybe Cumberland, Providence, RI where Herbert D. Moore is buried. Or maybe Randolph, VT where Alice Mary (Gifford) Moore is buried.

Steve Ellis says: I don't think it is Randolph.

Steve Ellis says: From Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls RI.

Brookfield, Vt., Aug. 15 (AP) -- A bronze tablet set in a 5,000 pound block of granite today stood in a triangular plot here as a memorial to Dr. E. E. Ellis, who, for 41 years, cared for the sick of this community. The memorial, unveiled yesterday, bore the simple inscription: "Elmer E. Ellis, M. D., Our Doctor From 1896 to 1937."

Annotation says both "Gettysburg" and "Valley Forge", and there were generals named McIntosh at both. But these look like the restored huts at Valley Forge.
