Brookfield, Vt., Aug. 15 (AP) -- A bronze tablet set in a 5,000 pound block of granite today stood in a triangular plot here as a memorial to Dr. E. E. Ellis, who, for 41 years, cared for the sick of this community. The memorial, unveiled yesterday, bore the simple inscription: "Elmer E. Ellis, M. D., Our Doctor From 1896 to 1937."
