The snake-eye pattern on this beast's shell is one of the most distinctive features of the burrow-nit family. The red pattern of the cloaking burrow-nit and the spikes around its mantle make it easily identifiable while still making it a representative specimen of the burrow-nit family. The shell on the cloaking burrow-nit's back also provides a frame that fixes its muscular structure in place, and appears to give the creature its powerful needle-launching attack.
Louie's Notes:
Boil in the shell with a pinch of salt until bright red, and serve piping hot with tartar sauce.

Nits. We has them. I started itching earlier last week and ignored it- after all I try and keep my hair dirty! Then the stamp came home in Immy's diary- a child in your child's class has an infestation of headlice. Sigh. So finally I put 2 and 2 together and found that the three of us need to be treated. I usually do the cheap conditioner and fine tooth comb trick, but the pharmacist convinced me to kill the suckers with an industrial strength 'herbal all natural' concoction that I had to leave on my hair for an hour and started off white and turned red. Assume it was my hair dye. Sigh. Then I did the conditioner and comb and got quite a few eggs. Will need to rinse and repeat a few more times though! Not sure how much colour I will have at the end though :( I might lash out and buy a bottle of hairdresser conditioner for colour treated hair just for me, or else wait and have it done again in a few weeks time!
Japs wasn't too bad, but he has short fine hair. Immy had heaps. And she now knows not to borrow my hair brush or hair ties!

I wound up at their gig when a punk concert had been blown off and we didn't know how to spend the night. They played in a small city hall which was a real strange location for a New Wave band. I was very surprised to learn that they are still around. From 1974 until today and 20 Albums..... not bad for a band.
