amazing when colours changes as it sets, as it bids farewell to another day..

life, like the sunset it goes on...

but it promises a new day,

you just have to leave one day at a time. ...

never giving up,

but always looking forward for a new day,

might not be a brighter one,

atleast a new day to atleast correct the mistakes of yesterday. . .

After fishing 4 different areas with no luck, we packed in the fishing for the day. Still fun to get out there and give it a shot.

That carpet is sick though.

PedidosYa is one of several courier delivery services in Buenos Aires.

THE GUARDIAN:

23 August, 2019:

A Buenos Aires judge bans delivery apps after road accidents spike.

When a courier delivering a takeaway in Buenos Aires was hit by a car 16 August, 2019, the company’s response was not to check how he was, but to ask: - “How is the order?”.

A judge has now ordered the suspension of delivery apps after finding that major players Rappi, Glovo, and PedidosYa, failed to comply with the law – of course the companies deny any wrong doing. The judges banned them until they start following the law.

The judges ruling applies to all companies that fail to comply with the law, but specifically mentions Rappi, Glovo and PedidosYa.

There has been an alarming number of road accidents in Buenos Aires involving couriers, with 13 to 40 incidents per month.

ODC2 ~ May 27 ~ Daily challenge-Under your feet

I read the challenge this morning when I first got up just before heading for the shower. What to do...what to do !! ... As I was getting out of the shower I heard Toni yell at Max to get out from under her feet... Bingo !!

Of our four pugs Max is the only black one and is a little different from the others. We got him when he was just over 5 weeks old...way to young to be separated from his mother. He is shy and doesn't play as well with the others. He is very unsure of himself and usually hangs back waiting to be asked to play and always wants to be in your lap. He follows Toni everywhere... even into the bathroom where he scratchs the door until she lets him in. You don't want to see that shot.

After getting dressed I headed out to the back porch for our morning cup of coffee and sure enough there he was...parked right under her feet as she was kicked back drinking her coffee. He is our special little boy.

This assignment was to create a magazine ad for Livestrong using one of the products they promote.

A few months ago, I was asked to create a LEGO version of the shoe designed by Chase Swearingen, one of the kids who participated as a designer in this years Doernbecher Freestyle program. It was given to him as a thank you gift due to his love of LEGO.

The final build was 4,500+ bricks, weighs 11 pounds, and is two and a half feet long. It features his lighthouse logo on the back, and I believe the shoe would be about a size 30. It was so incredible to be involved in such a cool project! I hope Chase enjoys his LEGO shoe, because I had a lot of fun designing and building the LEGO model of it.
