leaving the feeders
This was taken around the same time as yesterday's post of the grosbeaks, around 8:30 PM. I loved the lighting
In the nighttime
When the world is at it's rest
You will find me
In the place I know the best
Dancin', shoutin'
Flyin' to the moon
Don't have to worry
'Cause I'll be come back soon
And we build up castles
In the sky and in the sand
Design our own world
Ain't nobody understand
I found myself alive
In the palm of your hand
As long as we are flyin'
All this world ain't got no end
In the daytime
You wil find me by your side
Tryin' to do my best
And tryin' to make things right
When it all turns wrong
There's no fault but mine
But it won't hit hard
'Cause you let me shine
And we build up castles
In the sky and in the sand
Design our own world
Ain't nobody understand
I found myself alive
In the palm of your hand
As long as we are flyin'
All this world ain't got no end
Photo taken in Wilton, NH, USA. We were photographing the Milky Way when a large jet flew across the frame. The jet lighting provided an interesting focus on the galaxy lights.

UP 622 finishes up the evening's switching on Fox Avenue South having spotting a pair of tanks at Cascade Columbia Distribution along Union Pacific's East Marginal Way Lead. The track to the left continues down the street for another block or so but hasn't seen any use in probably decades. Seattle, WA
This was taken at the beach yesterday evening. There was a whole bunch of them growing near the sand dunes.
The first floor of the building on the right has a light on behind the shutters. That’s what prompted me to take the photo. I imagined him/her/them in bed, perhaps reading a book before they turned the light off.
Mt. Rainier National Park, Washington.
A friend and I went to watch the Perseid meteor shower in sunrise. (Thanks Gwen for the location!) I stayed up all night and enjoyed the view while trying to capture some meteors in my shots. I'm still new to night photography so the quality isn't all that great. Regardless I am still happy with this shot.
My attempt at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Planes trains and automobiles".
Shot with a "Tomioka-Copal 82 mm F 4" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.
I took a lot, I mean a lot, of lousy Bald Cypress images this past week. Oh well, learning experience. One of the exceptions is this image of one of my friends that coaxed me to go kayaking for a week, in the cold and, as you can see, at night sometimes. This picture, for me anyway, is the reward.
Take care out there!
