Alaskan nights in the summer are short on the dark and heavy on the light. It's mid July and the offical sunset time is 11:20pm. Sunrise is around 4:50am.

The City of Arts and Sciences (Valencian: Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències; Spanish: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain. The City of Arts and Sciences is situated at the end of the former riverbed of the river Turia, which was drained and rerouted after a catastrophic flood in 1957. The old riverbed was turned into a picturesque sunken park.
Singapore is a photographers paradise with so many wonderful viewpoints.
This is from Marina Barrage on the edge of the city on the Straights of Singapore. It is a very easy area to access and heavily frequented by locals enjoying the cool breezes and city views.
The challenge of this photo beyond weather is waiting for the area to be free of people and timing the water fountain lights. The water fountain cycle is rather short, so to overcome this I used a ND filter and 30 second exposure. This left the lasting water impressions and those walking through were not captured.
