Late evening, towards St. Paul's Cathedral. Had to wait ages for the theatre crowd to disappear and by then so had the blue hour
Alaskan nights in the summer are short on the dark and heavy on the light. It's mid July and the offical sunset time is 11:20pm. Sunrise is around 4:50am.
Calm early morning at the Key Bridge this morning. About an hour before sunrise. White balance here is at 6000K as shot ... which really warms the light from Baltimore City.

Experimented with full blur bokeh - I promise, it was before we went to the pub ;) Was fascinated by the light balls created by some interestingly designed street lanterns.

Palace on the Isle in the Royal Baths Park, Warsaw illuminated at night for the Gardens of Light project taking place simultaneously at royal residences in Poland, Germany, Russia, China, France and Denmark on Feb27th.
This is the only chance to see the various buildings and statues and trees illuminated at night - normally the Park closes at 10pm and everything is pitch black, luckily I happened to be in Warsaw that day and decided to visit.

Somewhere a little different from me this time. I spent a night in Edinburgh over weekend and took the opportunity to take in this classic view from Calton Hill.
Unfortunately the weather was grim, as you might expect for Scotland in February, but I wanted to try and include those snow capped mountains behind the National Monument as the city lights started to emerge.
Not quite what I was hoping for, but it will likely be a long time before I am in this neck of the woods again so it will have to do!
