This image was taken on a recent trip to Border Ranges National Park in northern NSW.
This park has beautiful lush rainforest and long flowing cascades which are awe-inspiring.
Border Ranges National Park has been included on the World Heritage list as a part of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves (Australia) along with other major rainforest stands in north-east NSW and south-east Queensland.
The listing of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve (Australia) means that Australia has an obligation to protect the values of this subtropical rainforest, including the plants and animals that are endemic to the area.
Border Ranges National Park (31 683 hectares), a World Heritage-listed rainforest park on the rim of a vast and ancient volcano, adjoins Lamington National Park in Queensland. It stretches 85 kilometers from east to west. Together with the McPherson Ranges, the Springbrook Plateau, and the Nightcap National Park, Border Ranges National Park forms part of the caldera of the Mount Warning shield volcano (the largest caldera in the southern hemisphere).
Border Ranges National Park appeals to naturalists, as well as bushwalkers with its spectacular views, pristine rainforests, waterfalls plunging into deep gorges, sparkling creeks, and rugged ridges.

Dieses Bild ist bei einem Treffen mit Flickr-Freunden in Hamburg entstanden, abends in der Hotelbar. Gläser auf dem Nachbartisch.

Ich fange mal ganz von hinten an, jedenfalls fast. Das war Samstagabend nach einem wirklich fantastischen und spannenden Tag. Mir hat unsere gemeinsame Aktion mit dem Personen-Shooting besonders gut gefallen – wie Ihr vielleicht alle gemerkt habt ;-) Deshalb war es auch besonders lustig, dass ausgerechnet meine Intension, ein stimmungsvolles Bild dieser leergetrunkenen und so wunderbar leuchtenden Gläser des Nachbartischs zu fotografieren, auf so wenig Gegenliebe gestoßen ist. Keiner der am Tag von mir angesprochenen Personen bei unserer Porträtfotoaktion hat unfreundlich oder irritiert reagiert und alle wollten gern fotografiert werden. Aber hier wurde ich vehement gemaßregelt ob der Unverschämtheit, die Kamera in die Richtung des Tisches auszurichten – dabei waren eindeutig doch nur die Gläser das Objekt meines Interesses und nicht die Tischnachbarn ... So kann's kommen ...

I hope this picture of Granny's Nightcap (Aquilegia, Columbine) with the yellow daffodil bokeh makes you smile! They flowered in my garden in May, and they made me smile - with or without bokeh!

From out travels at this wonderful place called Tsala where we stayed in a treehouse. Every night you would come back to your treehouse and the fire would be lit, candles all over the bathroom and room and this nightcap set up next to the stone bath for you to relax and enjoy. Bliss!
Ello darlings! I thought I'd put a nice furniture post together for you guys. We can all use a nice relaxing nightcap every now and then, don't you agree? A nice glass of wine or champagne, some tasty foods, and good company always hit the spot. I hope you enjoy this cozy little space I put together.

Aquilegia vulgaris is a species of columbine native to Europe with common names that include: European columbine, common columbine, granny's nightcap, and granny's bonnet. It is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant growing to 1.2 m tall, with branched, thinly hairy stems. The leaves are biternate; each leaf has three groups of three leaflets. The flowers, in various shades of purple, blue, pink and white, are pendent or horizontal with strongly hooked spurs, and appear in early summer.
In traditional herbalism columbine was considered sacred to Venus; carrying a posy of it was said to arouse the affections of a loved one.
