On vacation at a forest bungalow and been raining all day. Took my camera out to take shots of the water drops. Edited on the go using Photoshop Express and Lightroom apps on my mobile.

She’s my biggest cheerleader and my faithful photography companion. Just when I start doubting and feeling less then inspired, she is there asking me what I’m doing next. I love and appreciate her so very, very much.

Smooth and silky but hand held and shot wide open with the CZ Pancolar vintage lens. Not a river but the mariner at Colwick Park Nottingham but putting a single photo on a day means many don't get an airing. Today is the day it does :)

The white bokeh and oof areas are yacht's and other small boats....I remember being in danger of toppling in the water trying to get this branch hanging over the water..

Spring Flowers..

Another one from the archives.

In April 2020 the Spring flowers were popping out of the ground .. Mums are always so pretty and a sure sign of spring.

Karen picks up a variety of colours for our garden every year. they are currently sitting inside the house as she is worried about a last frost. so i get to photograph them in the meantime.

bright blossoms in icy temperatures

Pseudo HDR made using Photomatix's single file conversion. Went for a litle bit more of the surreal coloring with the processing on this one. Just for fun of course :) I usually like to stay truer to what originally saw when I took the shot. Call me conservative!
