On vacation at a forest bungalow and been raining all day. Took my camera out to take shots of the water drops. Edited on the go using Photoshop Express and Lightroom apps on my mobile.
As if being on center stage, this pretty little flower seemed to elbow the others out of the way in order to grab the spotlight…

She’s my biggest cheerleader and my faithful photography companion. Just when I start doubting and feeling less then inspired, she is there asking me what I’m doing next. I love and appreciate her so very, very much.
Smooth and silky but hand held and shot wide open with the CZ Pancolar vintage lens. Not a river but the mariner at Colwick Park Nottingham but putting a single photo on a day means many don't get an airing. Today is the day it does :)
The white bokeh and oof areas are yacht's and other small boats....I remember being in danger of toppling in the water trying to get this branch hanging over the water..
Today we went to a model train show. There was so much to see and shoot. So much detail!
I will be away until the beginning of October - spending time with my mom who is visiting from the east coast.
I will catch up with your amazing images when I get back.

My neighbours' yards are beautiufl this week. There's a white apple blossom tree on the left and a pink one on the right ...both in gorgeous full bloom! On explore @ 142 may 27/09
