These three were quite serious in this shot. Soph the Newf has since passed away as has Harley in the middle. Jake in the back row is still with us. My camera was focused on Harley and I like how Soph and Jake came out blurry.

These two best buds seem to go on daily crime sprees together. This morning I had fresh carrots from the garden drying on the kitchen counter and Clyde (Chance the cat) was batting at them and rolling them until they fell off of the counter and it just so happens that Bonnie (Emily the Newf) was patiently waiting to scoop them up. Bonnie loves to eat carrots. Clyde loves to play with them. Bonnie and Clyde have worked out a system that works for both of them.

Emily blew her second knee out a few weeks ago. She went through TPLO surgery for one knee about a year ago and now her other knee went. She is young and not quite 4 years old but has had one health issue after another since she was a puppy so life has been difficult for her. We aren't crazy about the TPLO surgery and braces aren't recommended for large dogs so we are weighing our options on how to treat her. One day at a time. I haven't been able to be on Flickr much with taking care of her so I have so much catching up to do.
Sophie doing her favorite thing. Standing with snow falling and a cold wind blowing in her face. A little frozen drool hanging from her lip. This was taken 7 days before she passed. I'm so glad she passed in winter when she was happiest.
