A part of my new beginning is the conclusion of my senior year of college and the quest for a new home.
In this photo, I wanted to show how I have slowed down. In this photo, I have lifted my feet up on my porch and have halted my movement all together. This is the start of my senior year - where it is my final year to grow in my education. I think and reflect back on my freshman year where I was so young and naive. At that time, I spent so much of my time running from one thing to another and taking life day after day that became faster and faster. Life seemed like a sprint, and now in my last year of school I can slow down and appreciate everything I have learned.
In my senior year, I can now focus on my personal growth professionally. It's time to start thinking about how my future will unfold, what career path I want to follow, and how I plan to use my influences to get there. This is important to my identity because it will shape how I am as a young professional stepping into the next chapter of my life.
