Così innevato sembra proprio un presepe questo quartiere di Savona che vedo sulle colline dietro casa (SERIE: qui sotto una visione d'insieme e il balcorama lato mare)
Località Valcalda, poco oltre c'è la casa dove Cristoforo Colombo abitò dal 1474 al 1481.

Ammetto che possa sembrare vagamente assurdo il titolo attribuito a questa immagine. Una nevicata nel pieno della primavera non è certo da escludersi in assoluto, ma è sicuramente improbabile. Eppure, questo paesaggio delle splendide Grave di Ciano, è caratterizzato da milioni di fiocchi candidi che veleggiano nell'aria. Sono i pioppi del fiume Piave, che disseminano e affidano al vento il loro futuro ..... ..

Macugnaga bell tower (consecrated in 1717, when tourism was not yet developed ) in early spring after a heavy vernal snowfall.
The birth of tourism in Macugnaga traditionally coincides with the visit of the Genevan naturalist De Saussure, who
arrived in the village in 1789, was hosted in the tavern of Antonio Maria del Prato (who thus becomes the first hotelier of Macugnaga), then climbed to the Pedriola and to the smaller peak of Pizzo Bianco.
He will be followed by numerous travelers, mostly English, who will introduce Macugnaga and Monte Rosa with their stories and their engravings.

Mentre le alta vette rocciose del gruppo delle Pale di San Martino hanno ricevuto la prima nevicata autunnale, più in basso i boschi della Val Canali presso Tonadico (TN) si sono colorati di toni caldi. Alberi come il faggio e il larice, dal verde estivo mutano in marrone e giallo creando l'effetto del "Foliage".
While the high rocky peaks of the Pale of San Martino group received their first autumn snowfall, further down the woods of Val Canali at Tonadico (TN) are colored with warm tones. Trees such as beech and larch change from summer green to brown and yellow, creating the effect of "Foliage".
Spring has arrived, accompanied by a little more snow.

Risalendo brevemente il sentiero che porta alla
bocchetta di Vallemaggia (valico alpinistico tra Italia e Canton Ticino) si apre il vasto panorama che dai laghi Boden guida lo sguardo sulle numerose cime del versante occidentale dell'alta val Formazza appena imbiancate dalla recente nevicata...
Il territorio dell'estremità settentrionale del Piemonte (ultimo villaggio è Riale al termine della val Formazza) è ricco di specchi lacustri d'alta quota nella quasi totalità modificati dagli sbarramenti per la produzione di energia elettrica: tra i pochi che fanno eccezione i laghi Boden a m.2350 adagiati sotto le pareti del Marchhorn 2961 m. offrono una visione idilliaca di questo straordinario angolo delle Alpi Lepontine.
