Marooned here, no car or bike as Amtrak failled to load bike yesterday.

At good Holiday Inn but remote, 2-3 miles or so from town. On Hiway of

course.

Quick ride from Wallace. On the CdA trail. Spokane River on the

right. Trail does not get much better than this. Especialy with an

early start to enjoy the cooler morning.

Hoter Burnham in the famous historic Relaince building. Cycling from

Amtrak not hard, much like Fifth ave NYC riding

of the trail. Will get to see Omaha well.

Davenport hotel lobby. Took shower before sleeperless and showerles

Amtrak.

Ugly town. Very ugly and noisy from many load bikers. Sufficiently

ugly that we rode another 25 miles for a place to stay

Zagat's highest rated BBQ in KC. Spoke to several persons of local

residency and all put this either number one or equal to another as THE

place to go.

Vanbrugh Stalls - there used to be a NetBox and TV on the end of those cables!

Country Living Inn Mark and Lauraine went out for beers too dark
