The morning this was taken (Wednesday 2/17/2021), it was around 12° outside and felt even colder. We were back in our house after a night with no power, heat, etc. and I just needed to see this as I drove into work about 6:20am. The sunshine didn't last long as another storm front rolled in just a couple of hours later bringing with it more ice, snow, and cold wintery weather. But this brief break was well received...and an opportunity to snap a couple of photographs!!

I spent the first 12 years of my life living with my Dad, so I never really got a chance to do "girly things", like play around with make-up etc. I only ever owned one barbie, and that didn't last very long because I decided to cut her long hair off thinking it would grow back - big mistake. So rather than dolls, I got bikes and trucks instead... ]
Now I'm making up for lost time. I love self-portraits because, one has a choice of creating different characters, away from the mundane drabs of normal or real life... It's the closest thing to play.
This is me playing with Anita's wig and her disco clothes... Maybe, If I was cool (cause I am a bit nerdy), I would want to look like this...
I found this TV on the side of the road (LOVE it) and I don't know how I got it in my car but I've always wanted to do something with it... :o)
