Governor Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum host the annual ND State Tree Lighting in the Memorial Hall of the Capitol Building. Holiday music was performed by Legacy High School Wind Ensemble & Brass Ensemble, directed by Mark Herold and Bismarck High School Choir,
accompanied by Brian Saylor. A special reading was given by ND Senator Ronald Sorvaag and the lighting of the tree was done by Connie Azure and her family.
